Between work, shuttling kids to and from activities, and trying to keep your house in order, finding the time, let alone the energy, to exercise is a challenge. Fortunately, there are basic exercises you can work in to your daily routine.

Build up a daily exercise routine slowly; if you go all out to start, then you’ll be more likely to fall off the wagon. Start with something simple, like skipping the elevator in favor of the stairs. Taking the stairs will work your quads, glutes, calves, and hamstrings. You can also try organizing a walking group on your lunch break. Socializing with your friends as you burn calories will hardly seem like working out at all! Finally, find a few minutes before bed to exercise. There are some excellent (and free) exercise videos available on YouTube, like eight minute abs. Even the busiest person can find ways to fit exercise into their daily routine.
