Fiber can be found in many fruits, vegetable and complex carbohydrates. Fiber helps flush the body of fat and toxins. Doctors will always tell their patients to eat more fiber when offering tips for how to lose weight quickly.

These fruits are well known their high fiber content; apples, prunes, strawberries, blueberries, and pears. Vegetables, including spinach, corn, turnips, carrots, and kale, contain excellent amounts of fiber. Complex carbohydrates, like oatmeal, brown rice, and whole-wheat bread are also high in fiber.
